EVENING and WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS in Turton PCN’s Extended Primary Care Service
As a patient at our practice, if you would like to see a GP or Practice Nurse for a routine appointment in an evening or at the weekend, we are able to offer you weekday evening and weekend appointments at one of the Turton PCN Extended Access Hubs.
Bolton’s GP practices have joined together, through Turton PCN, to offer appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are with Bolton GPs and Bolton Practice Nurses and are available at a via the Extended Primary Care Service provided by Turton PCN on behalf of 6 surgeries across Bolton.
You can make an appointment to see a Doctor, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse in one of the Hubs in the same way as you book appointments with us, through the practice Reception.
Appointments are available across Bolton hosted at the following sites:
Harwood Medical Centre
Egerton & Dunscar Health Centre
Crompton Way Health Centre
Monday to Friday 6.30pm until 8.00pm
Saturday. 9.00am-5.00pm
If you wish to cancel your appointment please contact your GP practice, if your practice is closed please telephone 01204 462050 to cancel.

NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (111) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
