We are providing a new way for our patients to access self-help and advice, 24/7, 365 days a year by introducing online consultations.  This allows patients to get information for a wide range of new or long term health conditions, and contact a GP online for non-urgent advice and information about treatment, without requiring an appointment.   Once your query has been sent, you will receive a reply back within 48 hours from a Doctor advising of the best course of action for you based on your query. Please click on the link below to view the information available.

appointment_1You may telephone or come in personally and make an appointment. Please be mindful when surgery times are running late. Please be on time and let the Receptionist know if you are unable to attend. Please note that appointments are for one person only. Please tell the Receptionist if you require longer than the 10-minute slot.

Arranging an appointment

Pre-bookable appointments are now available up to one month in advance. We do also offer ‘On the day’ appointments with the GP and certain appointment slots are now available online. We also run a clinic for Women’s Health and family planning.  Please ask at reception for further details. Please be aware, each GP appointment is 10 minutes long. Please respect this time.

Emergency appointments

Remember an emergency is a problem that cannot wait (medical emergency). If you require an emergency appointment please contact the surgery as early as you can – Edgworth Medical Centre opens at 8.00am and Egerton & Dunscar surgery opens at 8.30am. Urgent appointments will be seen the same day if possible.

Children will always be seen the same day but not necessarily at the chosen surgery. Surgery times may be altered to accommodate sickness, holidays and courses.

Please let the surgery know if you cannot attend for your appointment.

Emergencies will be seen the same day, but as these may be extra to normal surgery you may have to wait. Otherwise you will be offered the first available appointment.
